On December 26, 2004, tsunamis swept across the Indian Ocean, causing devastation in Sri Lanka and surrounding areas. People were left without homes, jobs, infrastructure, security or families. This catastrophe brought our global community together – recognizing our interconnectedness and mutual vulnerabilities by raising awareness and aid for the victims.
