The December 2005 tsunami in the Indian Ocean triggered a wave of generous donations from World Accord's Canadian supporters that were sent to Sri Lanka. A year later, Sara Maki visits Sri Lanka to see how World Accord's response has made a difference there.

The following Public Service Announcement and mini-documentary were filmed in Guatemala by Jeff Taylor and Mark Krupka (videographers who were in the country filming episodes of the "Survivor" television show).
The little blonde girl in the Public Service Announcement is 5 year-old Jillian Dailey, who traveled to Guatemala with her mother Shannon to shoot this video.
