Interns and Co-op Students

Internships

Just graduated from college or university and looking for a meaningful, adventurous and educational once-in-a-lifetime experience?

World Accord’s International Youth Internship Program may be just the opportunity you have been looking for. Sponsored through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), World Accord interns are placed at one of our project sites for hands-on experience helping our local partner implement their programs.

2008-2009 Internship Opportunties

World Accord expects to have internships for 2008-2009, but won't get approval and funding from CIDA until the spring of 2008. The best way to know when we will be looking for applications is to subscribe to our news blog (see the "Subscribe" button on the left), as we will post the information as soon as it is available.

World Accord was approved for four internships for this year. Two are in Guatemala working with Mujéres en Acción (MeA) as a Capacity Building Officer and an Expansion Capacity Building Officer (download job descriptions [PDF 30.0Kb]). The other two are in Honduras working with Proyecto Aldea Global (PAG) as an Agricultural Processing and Marketing Intern and an HIV/AIDS Education Intern (download job descriptions [PDF 29.9Kb]).
