25 Years of Learning

For 25 years World Accord has been working in the developing world, providing funds, knowledge, volunteers and tools to implement programs. The wisdom and expertise we have gained has compelled us to evolve as an organization in order to become much more effective in the approach and programs we offer.

World Accord prides itself on being responsive – recognizing challenges facing the developing world, working hard to understand and uncover the root causes, and responding with proactive workable solutions. Our programs work to improve people's access to basic human needs such as an adequate food supply, shelter, healthcare and basic education.

Lasting change comes through helping people and communities develop their own capabilities to improve their livelihood. To that end, everything we do is in partnership with local grassroots organizations to ensure our programs are meaningful and appropriate for the participants.

What makes development work challenging and rewarding is that every country and community is unique – each new project demands the best of our experience, expertise, wisdom and creativity.
